About Dr. Chang
Dr. Chang is a double board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer. He is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care while achieving the best possible functional and cosmetic outcomes for every patient.
Dr. Chang earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons before completing his dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, where he developed extensive expertise in Mohs micrographic surgery, complex facial reconstruction, and the management of high-risk skin cancers.
Throughout his training, Dr. Chang received numerous honors recognizing his clinical excellence, research achievements, and commitment to advancing the field of dermatology. These distinctions include the American College of Mohs Surgery Foundation Research Mentorship Award and the Columbia University F. Lowenfish Prize in Dermatology. He has also been awarded research grants from the Melanoma Research Foundation, the American Medical Association, and New York Academy of Medicine. Dr. Chang has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading dermatology and medical journals.
Dr. Chang is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Chang enjoys traveling, staying active, and making up rhymes with his daughter.
