Melanie Doretti is a nationally certified Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and skin conditions at our Munster location.
Melanie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in Human Nutrition and Spanish graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Rush University. She received specialized training in dermatology and hand surgery throughout her extended clinical training. She wrote her masters proposal on “Efficacy of Topical Vitamin C as Maintenance Therapy for Moderate to Severe Melasma”.Melanie is completing a dermatology fellowship through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants alongside extensive training from the Dermio provider team. Additionally, she is a member of the National Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.She has a background in providing primary care for the Latino population of Chicago. She feels passionate about providing high-quality bilingual medical care and is fluent in Spanish.Melanie is able to diagnose and treat a wide variety of dermatological conditions and perform an array of cosmetic procedures. Melanie provides each patient with a personalized approach to their care and is excited to see you at our Munster location!
